So, I will be buying the Verizon Galaxy Note 2. Seems pretty simple huh?

Well here is the not so simple. I would like the sell my tablet (Asus Transformer Prime 32g, Key Dock, and all accessories) that I have now and my old Droid X with all the accessories to help fund my purchase since i will be buying off contract. Might even sell my Razr Maxx as well. I don't have enough posts on here to sell in the market place yet and I dont want to go on a posting spree to unlock the 50 post count (even though I have been on here since last year).

In the perfect world I would like to buy the Note 2 from Best Buy since I have some coupons and credit there . I know BB has a trade in option but I am looking to get better money for my tablet and phones then what they offer.

Is there somewhere that you all recommend selling these pieces of equipment (other than ebay) that I could get cash OR trading them in somewhere other than BB to get better trade in value? Does Verizon do anything like this?

Thanks guys and gals :)

Bob

Verizon has a trade in program but they don't give you much. We were going to trade in my wife's Driod X when she got her Razr M and they were only going to give her about $20. I ended up selling it on Craigslist for $45. I have an X as well that I will be selling when I get the Note 2, and I am planning on selling it on eBay. I have had great luck with eBay.

I sold my ASUS tablet & dock on Craigs List.

Thanks for the suggestions. Just listed it with Craigs List today. We'll see how that goes. Might list it on Swappa too.

Samsung has a decent trade in as well. They're offering up $255 for my SGS3. Other than that try Craigslist. I typically do pretty well with CL.

I would suggest the eBay route which is what I just did with my devices to make room for the newest ones I am getting GN2 and a Tablet (TBD). The hard part is there are lots of them out there, but if your stuff is in good condition and you take good photo's you should be ok. Not sure how many posts you need in order to post in the marketplace but there are lots of topics you likely can impart some knowledge in and earn that spot in the marketplace.

I try to avoid the send it in and get paid when we evaluate it route. I got scammed once and never again.

eBay really bones ya with all the fees as does PayPal. I know everyone has to eat, but damn.....so do I.

Yeah i am not thrilled about the fees. I listed it there there other day and am hoping it sells somewhere else first so i can close the listing and only lose my $.97
