Buying the s10 Plus, Galaxy X or sticking with Note?

Currently using a Galaxy S8+; I've had S2, S4 and S6edge. I'll very likely make the jump to a Note 10 next time around.

Not getting anything. After paying outright for the 8GB Note 9, buying a Note 10 is idiotic in my opinion. I guess if you have nothing better to do than waste money more power to you.

Well, now, I don't feel judged at all! lol

If I had to choose between the three, I'd get the Samsung Galaxy S10. Smaller size than the others, and thus easier to handle for me (even despite the much-better-ergonomics of current phones).

I think there going have a lineup for everyone this year looks good .

I have to say I'm pretty happy with the Note 9 and I'll see what's offered with the S10 is released. I will say the Note 9 is almost too big for my personal use and not sure what the Note 10 will be like. Pretty soon, it'll be like holding a ham sammich up to your ear.

I'm keeping my note 9 until as least when it stops getting the latest update which would be Android R.

After playing with the N9, I will be waiting for a smaller phone that has the kitchen sink included. I will live without the s pen. The smaller power house phone must be able to allow me to handle everything hands free with a single wireless earbud. Thus the reason I am ready for a smaller phone because I hardly ever pull one out. However this power house will hopefully be verizon and not necessarily Samsung. The Samsung exiperence and I for some reason dont get along. Ya a little old school and could crare less about price. Small, powerful handsfree is what I want.

I will be looking at the S10 (edge? regular? Not Plus or Lite) and the Galaxy F (X). I've had Notes before and loved them, but as screen size increased across the product line, I found I didn't need the Note size and got tired of lugging around the larger frame and having to remove it from my front pocket whenever I sat down. The regular S10 will have a 6.1" display, so the Plus or Note don't seem necessary, especially for .2" pr .3" more.

I am trying to use fewer devices and spend less time on screen. I have the S8 now with an LTE Galaxy Watch (S3 Classic LTE, Frontier before that, S2 3g before that and even an original Gear S), because I love the independence and freedom of just leaving the phone home when running errnads, walking or working out. Because I love the S8 and didn't see enough to justify upgrading, I passed on the S9.

But the design of the F intrigues me. I am interested in it because I like smaller tablets, having used a Nexus 7 for years and then two Tab S2s. If the F is really good as a 7"+ tablet, it could solve the problem of multiple devices. I would be willing to pay a premium for that (but sure as hell never more than $1500, and that would be a huge stretch that would have to pass the WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor)

Lol @ WAF. :-)
Over here it usually war minister or finacial controller

My note 9 is completely paid off this second (merry Xmas to me!) and so I'll wait on the Note 10 before I get in debt again. Lol
Plus, this thing is a beast! I love it!

I've named my phone, Franklin.

Naming your phones - amazing! I sometimes name my devices too!

Staying with my Note9. Never even considered upgrading to S10. If I'm not mistaken, the features of the S10 aren't even known (official) yet. There are probably features it will have that no one knows about yet. So, I don't know how some people can make up their mind yet. Pricing is another consideration all together.
Regardless, unless it's your thing and you just need to have something new all the time, no phone offers substantial upgrade more than once a year.
