Bypass slide to unlock

Is there a way to disable the slide to unlock screen? I set a pattern password and thought it would overide it, but it doesnt. Now I have to slide then password. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris

The slide to unlock screen will still be there, but you can press Menu instead of the slide.

I tried an app called KeyGuard Disabler. It bypasses the Verizon screen, but sadly it also bypasses the password slide lock.

Thanks. Not what I wanted to here, but oh well. I guess I could live with it.
