I've seen a lot of people posting and commenting about the C# of their Nexus 7, which actually only corresponds to the date of manufacture. Yet when you look closely, C70 and 80 devices also suffer from some minor problems. Now, I have a C60 unit with zero problems since launch. Is mine an anomaly, or are there others out there with preordered C60 units that are fine? Do you think we're putting a bit too much into this whole serial number analysis?
And besides, the screen lift that many complain about is so small, that if not for this mass hysteria, it would never have been noticed. I've never encountered a nexus 7 that wasn't slightly higher on the left side in terms of the bezel. Granted, I'm sure there were some that had a valid complaint with severe screen liftage. I've seen some pics. But do you think the hysteria has led to "too many" returned devices for the wrong reasons?
