Does anyone else's calculator speak to them? Mine says every key I push and I can't figure out how to turn it off. (I haven't looked in the manual yet...)

settings -> device -> accessibility -> scroll all the way down to Services section and turn them all off (such as Pushbullet, airdroid, tasker)

I'm having the same issue with my Verizon version and haven't figured out a solution either

My services are all off and it still talks!

It arbitrarily turns on Wi-Fi that you have specifically turned off. It talks back even after you have turned off those services...what the h*ll is going on here?

I know it's not an ideal fix, but I ended up factory resetting my phone, and the calculator no longer talks.

Well Brian, maybe it is an ideal solution. These are new machines. We have probably done little to modify them at this point.

What is interesting about a factory reset working is the question of....what is happening between factory fresh and these experiences. It did not sound like you guys intentionally did anything that you thought would result in this behavior. Are the carriers doing something between coming out of Sammy and having them delivered to us? Certainly did not sound like the arbitrary Wi-Fi turn ons' after turning Wi-Fi off were anything any user intended. Sounded more like once Wi-Fi was intentionally turned on, there was simply no way to intentionally turn it off and have it stay off!

It will be interesting to see if these behaviors repeat after factory reset and beginning to use the N4 again. If they don't come back, maybe it suggests that the first thing we should do is a factory reset, not the last thing. I don't know if that is the case. But I still it interesting that it was the only thing so far that I have seen here that appears to have worked.

My calculator started talking out of nowhere. So I contacted Samsung and spent 30 minutes in a chat session with a Samsung Rep who wiped Google voice and Samsung voice, turned off all Talkback features, cleared cache, and in the end recommended a factory reset.

I just downloaded a different calculator instead. Irritating that it's no easy fix...
