Calendar App: View schedule for future or past dates?

Ok, so opening up Calendar gives you a really usefully displayed schedule for today and you can scroll through to get to tomorrow, etc.

But can you choose a date, say, 5 weeks from now? Tapping on any date in the month view just opens the default today schedule.

Am I missing something or is there no such capability; in which case could anyone recommend a 3rd party app which has this functionality?

3-bar menu (upper left) - set it for Month. Scroll left and right to change the month shown. I got back to November 2013 before I stopped. In the other direction, I stopped at August 2022. (I stopped both times, the app would have kept going, but I decided to stop.)

You can also go to Google Calendar, set it to Month (or even Year - upper right dropdown) and it goes backward and forward for years.

Thanks for the reply, but I meant on the Galaxy Watch. Are you referring to the phone app?

I think the app on the watch is only meant as a copy of a "calendar on the wall", nothing more. I saw an app with higher ambitions but with bad reviews ("far from finished").

You are right Sonnet! Best I can tell the calendar does NOT let you open a day by tapping that date for any date in the future! Terrible! And if you try SETTING an appointment or reminder, you can't choose any date more than 30 days in the future! This is simply UNBELIEVABLE!!!
