Hey guys,

Is there any good calendar apps that have Username and Password Authentication. I have an account that requires it and sadly Google Calendar doesn't allow it.

Thanks

What do you mean by Username and Password Authentication? All accounts added to the Calendar (except the local calendar) are usually username/password protected. Your phone supports a bevvy of options to add, like Hotmail, GMail, Exchange accounts, Yahoo!, etc.

Apps like Samsung's Knox or Private Mode in their phones allow you to protect the content with an added security layer (local PIN/Password), but to the best of my knowledge, no account enforces this, unless a it's a corporate account with embedded credentials in the system (in which case it's your IT department that should configure the account).

Basically I have a Class schedule I am trying to add you live sync to my Calendar. I can't add it directly to Google Calendar because its URL which then requires a login. I know on iPhone (sorry for swearing) it works as a friend as one. So basically I need a calendar that I can add a URL to which will in turn prompt a login.

Sorry I'm not familiar ICS is. But I actually added it through the website page. I sadly enough couldn't find the button on the app :( lol

So, you added it in Google Calendar's webpage? And does your calendar show there? (ICS should be the file extension at the end of the link you're trying to add if it is, indeed, an ICS file)
