Calendar Icon After Nougat

Do any of you have an issue where the calendar Icon doesn't show the right date when you use a third party launcher? Using Nova here and the defaulh calendar app's icon does not update (see here next to the Google calendar app which does). Oddly enough, my wife's phone which also uses Nova has an icon that updates fine.

I never thought about it, but I think my icon updated before upgrading to Nougat. Some setting must of changed or got screwed up in the update process. Any ideas on how to fix - I tried reinstalling Nova from scratch, rebooting, switching launchers (Google Now had similar issue).

Oddly enough, in the application settings pane, the icon does change with the date.

I keep replying to my own post, but it seems so fix itself by now it just took a couple hours

I'm having this issue now. Still hast fixed yet and it's been like this for a few days.

If you changed the theme, it could be that.

My S7 calendar app has been stuck on 23 since the N update (was on 8 with M). Using stock launcher but a theme from the Samsung theme library. I don't think mine has ever updated to match the correct calendar date.
