Calendar keeps force closing on CDMA Hero (picture included)

On my hero, nearly every time I try to create or edit a calendar event, I get a force close popup for the calendar app. It is getting very aggravating and no matter how many times I do a battery pull, it still happens. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it, but I use a program called spanning sync to sync my mac iCal program with my gmail which in-turn syncs to my hero. Any feedback would be appreciated.

you really don't need that spanning sync, that's what could be causing the problem.

go to iCal > preferences > accounts

Hit the + to add an account

Account Info:

Username - you@gmail.com
Password - your google password

Server Settings:

Server Address - www.google.com
Server Path - /calendar/dav/you@gmail.com/user
Check the use SSL box

Delegation:

Check all the calendars you wish to sync

you@gmail.com = your g-mail address

I didn't go this route because it will only pull in what is currently in your gmail calendar and put it in iCal. I am trying to sync what's in my iCal calendar and put it in gmail.
