Hi guys. I have a question about putting an entry into the native calendar app.

Down the bottom of the app there is a lock symbol on the left with the the words:

"show me as"

Of which you can select either "busy" or "available". The default setting is "busy".

What do these mean?

Here's a pic of a new, yet to be made, Samsung calendar entry.

I do t appear to have the 'busy' or 'available' statement 🤔

Busy or available relates to the time period of the new calendar entry. The default of busy is normal, it assumes your entry denotes a time period where your occupied and not available to do something else (appointments, meetings, etc). If you were to make another calendar entry for the same time period or overlapping time it would reflect a conflict in scheduling. Available on the other hand would not conflict with overlapping entries and just reflect something for that day and time that you may want entered on your calendar (birthdays, occasions, etc)
