Ok guys, I finally got the update to InTune that I was expecting, it now recognizes the encryption of the Pixel and Pixel XL. The e-mail app I had on my Samsung phones doesn't seem to be an option on the Pixel for sync'ing work e-mails so I'm using the Outlook app. Emails are coming through on the app just fine and I can view my work calendar but only within the outlook application.

It is NOT sync'ing my Google calendar like it did on my note 5. My Google calendar is blank today and all week really despite numerous meetings, conf calls etc. Not a single one has been brought into my android calendar.

We are using Microsoft 365 and Outlook Exchange, any thoughts or help? The helpdesk has been useless on this issue...

That's a limitation of the Outlook app, unfortunately. It will not sync your calendar items to your default phone calendar. They can only be viewed on the calendar inside the Outlook app.

If they using O365 and Exchange Online and they are halfway smart, they are not allowing just any old app to sync mail. We're in the process of going to O365 and will only allow syncing to the Outlook App.

OUGrad05, the calendar items in your Outlook app will not sync to the Gmail Calendar app. If you want a unified calendar you can always put your personal account in Outlook and use that as your shared calendar.

It worked seamlessly on my Note5 but I was probably using Samsung's calendar app I guess...:(

If it's not Exchange but you just want calendars, contacts etc sync'ed to Outlook, I've been using Gsyncit for years. Costs a little bit, but has always worked perfectly for me :)

Yeah, I bet the Google calendar can read the Sammy calendar database and pull it into the app. Microsoft currently does not allow that in their Outlook app. They use that app along with Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies to password protect and keep your email/contacts/calendar inside the Outlook app assuming your company deploys those policies.

They currently allow contacts to sync from Outlook to the Android contacts app (and have a policy to deny it) but they have not yet allowed the calendar to be exposed outside the app. If you're a big GMail user for personal email I can see how that can be frustrating having to check two calendars.

If you use the Outlook app you have to use the Outlook calendar, it sucks and pushed me to Nine which is 100% better anyways. You should check it out.
