calendars

[blackberry manual]

so i just got my droid x today and as a recent blackberry head it is nice. I do have one question that may not make sense, but it is something that I am use to. I have a number of email addresses, and I use them for different things. On my blackberry I was able to have all of these different calendars show up. I am only having the ability to show one calendar? Is there a way to fix this?

Open the calendar application ---> menu button ---> more ---> calendars

Open calendar. Menu>more>my calendars>add calendar

I believe you have to first add the new calendar in Google Calendars. I don't think you can create new cal from device (but I could be wrong).

Go to menu button\settings\accounts. Select the account you want to sync a calendar with. Check "Sync Calendar" under "Data & Synchronization".

Now when you go to the calendar app menu button\more\my calendars it should show up.

That will only work on multiple Google calendars. I think BBmanual was refering to having a calander from yahoo, Hotmail, ect...ect... I would like to have my yahoo groups calander to my Dx

Yes i would like muliple calendars. I have three google a yahoo and an aol. Only the main gmail shows. I love the droid x and think it may be everything im looking for in a phone but i need better calendar intergration. Help blease.

I don't know if it helps or not, but you CAN have multiple Google calendars on the account (and share them). I have 12 calendars on my Google account and I share about 9 with the wife so we have sync'd schedules. I don't think you can set up from the phone, but you can set up on the Google calendar website. My only wish is that there were more color options for the calendar setup.

Try sharing all of your Google calendars with your main Google account (done on the PC). Then on your X, choose to add calendars. It may take a few seconds for it to kick in, but you should be able to see all of your calendars. Not sure about getting the Yahoo and the AOL calendars to sync us as I don't use them.

You can have multiple calendars for one gmail account, you can also share calendars for other gmail acounts with the main gmail account and it will show up in available calendars.
