Call and message continuity with unlocked device on ATT

I haven’t been able to find an answer, and have read conflicting reports. I know that att blocks this service, but if I purchased an unlocked galaxy and threw my SIM card into the phone, would it work with a wifi tab s7? Really wanting to pick up this s21 but not sure if I’ll be able to use this feature

If anyone has any recent information about this and can give me some advice I would appreciate it. I know att carrier phones will not work. But may ditch my apple eco system for android once again. This feature was a big reason I didn’t fully take the plunge

Continuing text message and call? Are you asking if the phone will continue to get message and call from different device once switch?
