call and text

I just got the tab s7 plus and and tried to set up call and texts from other devices from my note 20 ultra (at&t). I have an option to turn on this setting on my tab but not on the note 20. How do I turn on this feature on my note 20?

it says, "Call & text on other devices currently does not work with Verizon and AT&T phones and may not be available on all models from other carriers."

you might wanna contact AT&T and see if they're gonna allow this in the future or not

I don't know about AT&T but Verizon blocks this because they have their own app for sharing calls/texts with a tablet.

Does AT&T have their own app for texting?

Not that I'm aware of. I checked all of the pre loaded at&t apps and none of them were messaging apps

I just looked it up on Google, it appears they have an app on the Play Store. It's called AT&T Real Time Text.

Yes download the app to your tablet and pair it in the settings of the messaging app on your phone. I use it on a wifi only Tab A

Seems like unlocked phones have the feature enabled. My N20U that is Verizon branded does not have it. My Flip 3 that I bought from Samsung unlocked does have it.
