Call problems

Almost daily, while on a call, the person I'm speaking with can't hear me after a random point. I can hear him/her but they can't hear me anymore. I have to hang up and call the person back. Very frustrating. Any ideas? I'm hoping to hear suggestions that don't include "restart" or worse, "factory reset" the phone.

Which carrier ? Have you tried safe mode and place a call?

Are you using wired or Bluetooth headset? Have you contacted your carrier about this to see if there are any issues with the network?

Sometimes you can pull your face away from your phone just far enough that the screen lights up, & you can accidently hit the mute button. Happens to my wife all the time. Not saying this is your issue, but something to look at.
