No issues here with voice quality. All is well.

Sound is very very clear and no dropped calls yet, even in places where my Storm 1 would drop out constantly. Also, through BT in the car I've heard nothing but good response from people I talk to about quality on there end.

People mention it 50% of the time and want to call me back or blame it on their phone or the netwrok. I have run numerous tests with and out using BT. All are the same. Same problem here. Mine sounds really muffled and way to much bass. Also people complain about my voice clipping. I exchanged my first one because of this and the one I have now I think is even a little worse.

Same problem here. Mine sounds really muffled and way to much bass. Also people complain about my voice clipping. I exchanged my first one because of this and the one I have now I think is even a little worse.

I've only had the phone for a day and haven't spoken to many people on it yet but my girlfriend was complaining of this exact thing... i came across a post on how to change the "vocode" and my girlfriend said she can hear me much better....


from the phone dial ##program and hit send, then enter 000000...... then select option "04 Vocode" and switch it from EVRC to either EVRC-B or 13K..... when you select it and go back to your homescreen your phone will restart.

I tried both 13k and EVRC-8 and my girlfriend said EVRC-8 sounded the best, also the post i learned this from hinted to only change this in the program menu because some of the options can lead to bricking your phone so don't mess around with them

My call quality with and without my Bluetooth is much better than my storm 1 hands down. My girlfriend used to complain all the time about the call quality on the old phone but since switching to the Droid, no problems at all!

The people I'm speaking too don't complain... but my sound is awful... I get this echo of myself speaking half the time.

I tried switching the VOCODE to EVRC-8 last week and it wasn't any better. Switched it to the 13k one last night so we will see if that helps.
