pull the notification window down, scroll through the toggles and toggle car mode off

Is this a Sprint GS3? I've never had mine do that. I can't find anything in settings, either. Is there any chance you've installed a third party app that controls this?

With the Sprint GS3 go to settings/ language and input/ text to speech/ driving mode. Hold the driving mode momentarily to turn on and off all the features with a check in the box

I had the Bluetooth on inside my house. Normally I would have Bluetooth on only in my car. Callers are announced when I'm driving. Later, Ray

qwikstrike answered the question, I use it all the time, it will even read your texts if you want.

I knew it would read texts. I didn't know it read incoming caller info, too.

Coming from a feature phone I always had it announce the caller and I thought I needed an app, but it is built into the GS3 which is nice but hard to find. Seems a few apps just enhance what is already baked in.
