Callers not given the option to leave a message on my voice mail?

I have set up voice mail on my samsung galaxy s8 note, but people calling be aren't given the option to leave a message if I don't answer. My carrier is through Aldi.

Welcome to Android Central! How did you set up your voicemail? Did you follow these steps, from Aldi's FAQ page? https://www.aldimobile.com.au/faq/

Voicemail can be accessed by dialling 101 from your handset, or opening your phone contacts and calling “Voicemail”.
You cannot currently access your ALDImobile voicemail from another phone.

When you first dial voicemail, you’ll be prompted to:

Supply a PIN (must be six digits long)
Re-enter your PIN
Record a greeting
If you have any problems, press * to return to the previous menu then press 0 for help.

Please note, when recording your personal greeting message, it cannot be any longer than 1 minute in length.

When people call and can't leave voicemail, can you ask them what they hear? Is there a message saying that the voicemail inbox hasn't been set up, or that it's full?
