Calling a number through email message

Was wondering if it's possible to call a number from my email message? On my BB Bold, when I would get an email from a customer, the phone number would be highlighted in red almost like a hyperlink. You were then able to just hit this number and have it punch through.

I haven't seen this through the email app, or the Gmail app for that matter. Is there a setting I am missing, or does this not even exist with Android?

If I remember right and someone correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't Apple have sort of patient about this and Android had to change how that worked?

Works for me in Gmail. Phone numbers are blue underlined links that pop up in my dialer without a problem.

Yeah I just checked mine and there blue there too. Maybe try clearing the cache?
