camera changed image name format after Android 11 update

After upgrading to Android 11, the images from the camera now start with "PXL_" instead of "IMG_". Is there a way to change this back? I'm old fashioned and just navigate my pictures via file browser on my computer and not a viewer application that organizes by metadata, so changing the image name breaks my ability to alphabetically order a set of images and trust that they are also ordered by date taken. It's a minor issue of course, but pretty annoying - why would Google change the file name, when they can just as easily advertise that the image was taken by a Pixel other ways since it is embedded in the metadata?

I don't think you can change it other than manually renaming each photo (i know, pain). I saw this change noted in an A11 review

I think the reason for the change was to categorize the different kinds of photos in a more logical way. Before, moving image files would start with MVIMG, panoramas would start with PANO, etc. -- but now, all photo files will start with PXL, and those designations will be tacked on the end of the filename as modifiers. Doesn't solve your file organization issue, just an explanation. https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/...-and-videos-with-will-know-youve-got-a-pixel/
