Camera closing

When I take a photo, and have pressed the tick button to accept it. The camera app closes down and I'm back on the main screen of my phone, so I've then got to re-open the app to take another photo. I know it never used to do this, it's only been the last couple of months I've noticed it. It started doing it before the update to 5.0.1 so I know that didn't cause it...

Anyone know how to stop it from closing down after accepting every photo.

My phone did this after using an RUU to return to stock from rooted lollipop. You need to go to app manager, go to the all apps tab, find Camera, and delete cache, app data, and all installed updates. After that try your camera again .

The updates will reinstall from the play store automatically in the future so don't worry about that

Cleared cache and data, nothing showing about updates so couldn't clear them. Still same problem...
