camera error

Often when I do the double twist motion to activate the camera, the camera app starts to open, shows a black screen and then the pop up saying "camera error"

This is happening more and more. Usually, but not always, when the phone is locked, or there are other programs running in the background .

Anyone else see this? Solutions?

Does It happen only when you use the twist action or when you open the camera with the screen shortcut as well? Are you using an SD card?

Also, does it happen in Safe Mode? https://motorola-mobility-en-in.cus...e/motorola/moto-g5-plus/topic/reset/safe-mode. If not, then some 3rd party app might be interfering, possibly because it's taking control of the camera at the wrong times.

Happens to me also. When it does I got to Setting > Apps. Find "Camera" and open "Storage" and delete cache and data. You will not see the error for a while. Annoying bug I hope will be gone with the upcoming Oreo update. You can also use a third party camera like Cameringo+. Works great with the G5+
