Android Central Question

About 2 weeks ago, I started getting the above error: Camera failed. I looked up the "fixes" online and tried all but Factory Reset: First, clearing the camera data and cache, then the cache partition. At first, clearing the camera data and cache worked, but not for long. Finally, I tried deleting the cache partition. The camera worked then, but, again, not for long. It worked sporadically for a few days, but now nothing I do gets rid of the error. Short version: My camera no longer works!
Will factory reset get rid of this problem? My data backs up to Google, but I would rather not use this fix 1) if it really doesn't work and 2) there is something else I can try. One more thing which may not be of value: I have a 32 gig version of the s7 and that 32 gigs is almost full. Some of my apps and most of my photos are stored on my SD card. I don't know if this affects the camera, but I thought I'd mention it. Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forums. Also, some problems with the camera are related to the SD card, specially if you set it as default storage for your photos. I'd unmount it temporarily and see if the problem persists.
