Camera freezing

Does anyone have this problem when taking a pic with the incredible: it takes the pic but after you take none of the icons show up to save, share, etc... and then its just frozen? i hit the power button several times and then eventually the pic goes away and the camera is back up

yep, all the time. If it doesn't get better with 2.2 I'll be ditching this phone.

I had the same problem, first try a factory reset, if that doesn't fix it, then you need a replacement. I had to get my phone replaced.

Factory reset ; hit menu then setting then privacy and there is factory reset , after that you have to activate your phone again and make sure Verizon waive the activation fee. Tip

Factory reset turn back your phone to factory state mean that your phone will be same as you received first like new

I've had the same issue, but it doesn't happen every time I want to take a pic. Lately, I've tried making sure I don't have too many things running in the background while shooting away. Not sure if it helps or not, but I'm not going to return the phone because of it. I'm sure it is a bug, but hopefully an OTA will address it. Otherwise this is the best mobile device I've ever owned!

thanks i will try lowering the resolution and making sure things r not running in the background... i think i will try that before the factory reset bc i dont want to lose all of my settings if i dont have to. I am not going to return it either- i love it! im coming from blackberry, so i had no clue how to attempt to fix the problem. all i know how to do is battery pulls... which i dont miss!
