Camera in A32 Sometimes Flipping Images

I'm still trying to get used to my new Galaxy A32 and one thing that's giving me a bit of trouble is the camera. Specifically, very often, especially when I point the phone downward, the camera essentially flips/rotates the image -- the orientation is not what it was in real life and what actually appeared on my phone's screen. Is there any setting I can change so that pictures are essentially taken as-is? Thank you.

Check the ICONS on the camera (not the image itself). That'll tell you if the camera detects rotation or not. Only way to disable this is to disable your phone screen's auto-rotation options,.

I agree with the above post. It sounds like the phone thinks it's orientation is switching between portrait and landscape when pointed downward and the camera app interface should change if that's happening.

Thanks to all of you for the responses. Yes, this is most likely what is happening here. What I've figured out since I wrote the original post is that if doesn't happen if I hold the camera vertically -- if it's in portrait mode. Which is kind of strange, I think.

The question, then, is how do I disable that setting? If you mean the general (not just camera) rotation lock that you see when swiping down on the home screen, that's already locked anyway -- I almost never like the screen flipping on me.
