Camera issue

Hello all! Apologies if this has already been asked or discussed.

The camera itself, facing out, is perfectly fine but when I switch the view to the camera facing me, the program gives me an error message: "The application Camera (process com.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and then I have to force close it.

I'm quite the n00b at Android, having come from a Blackberry where a good ol' fashioned battery pull would do the trick. But what do I do here? Have any of you been experiencing this?

Thanks!

Not being a smartbutt, but have you tried rebooting? It does fix alot of things on Android devices as well. :)

Also, did you notice it started after you installed any particular app?

Oh, I reboot regularly just to keep things working properly. And I still experience the same issue.

As far as any particular apps... hmm. I'll try removing a few that I've recently installed to see what happens. Heh. Thank you.

Fortunately I haven't had this issue yet BUT I think the way people have been fixing it is by going into settings -> applications -> all -> camera, then tapping "clear data" and/or "clear cache".

If I clear cache, does this mean my pictures will be erased? (I feel so silly, I'm usually good at these kinds of things.)

Thank you!

Ive been lurking this forum learning alot about my new Thunderbolt. This is the first time Ive been stumped and needed desperate help!! Thank you!

Sorry for being off topic, but has anyone found an easy way to take a photo of themselves? (Holding the back part of the phone towards you) I find it difficult to push the snapshot button.

I have installed new software in my Samsung Galaxy GTI 9003 and having this problem right from the start. I have also tried = Setting-Apps-All-Camera-Clear/Clear Cache. but this is not working for me. any other option?? I am also having another problem. My mobile not picking up any Sim Card.
