Camera lag?

Does anyone notice when you take a picture it Takes it, freezes the screen makes the shutter sound but then actually captures the Frame a second behind it? I dont remember the demo lagging that bad. I have an SD card, I thought it could possibly be causing the lag so i Pulled it but Im getting the same results.

turn off blink detection and see if that helps any

I get the same camera lag. Thought maybe it was auto focus related, but doesn't seem to be. Anyone have a tweak?

Blink detection has never been on. Can't find a setting that had made a difference. Anyone not have this problem? I'm thinking about exchanging it.

Exchanging it won't do anything, your device is fine. There definitely is a little lag from when you snap the picture to when it is actually taken. I was hoping the SGS2 didn't have any lag but it does.

Definitely not as bad as the EVO 3D was but it is there....One thing I find weird if you cannot turn auto focus off. It just gives 3 different choices for it but none are off....

I can handle a little shutter lag, but I wish they synched the shutter sound with the lag. My daughter will start moving as soon as she hears the shutter sound, which ruins some of the pictures I take.
