Only lag I'm seeing is the camera autofocusing before taking the pic, which is normal.

I found there was quite a bit of lag between focusing and taking a photo while using the Auto HDR mode. As soon as I turned Auto HDR off it takes photos much faster now.

You do know that it takes 3 pictures in HDR mode, right? That may not be lag you are seeing.

No real lag there. Maybe slower shutter speed because the lighting isn't great and the flash is off. I'm sure your S6 Active wouldn't be any faster in the same shot.

Lol interesting. How is the active? Like it? The only knock I have on the regular S6 is the small battery. Yes, there are other issues, but software updates can fix them all.

I noticed the same thing. Try saving pics on local storage instead of SD card and turn off HDR. I hate that you have to do so much but G4 shutter is slower than S6 and S6E for me too.

I'm so frustrated coming from a 2 year old LG G Pro that could focus and snap great pictures. But now on the brand new G4 I can never catch the same action shots. The pictures are indeed higher quality when it finally takes but if I'm missing the moment it DOES NOT MATTER. I had CM 12 on the G Pro, maybe this will get better once someone gets it rooted and some proper CM ready.
