Camera Notification

I've gotten this just by taking regular photos. It started after the last security patch for me. Never had it before I updated.

There seem to be many people encountering this problem, but it isn't normal. I've taken tons of photos in various modes and have never seen that pop-up message, even briefly.

Its not a pop up message. Its in notification shade. Same aa if you move files from A to B. Or delete files through My Files.

It's not that wide spread. I've searched and can't find it in other forums.

The amount of data being processed due to the slow shutter and high ISO means it has to work harder and it will take longer to process an image taken in Night mode.

And in Live Focus. It's taking many pictures (at different focus) and "sewing" them into one.

Ok I just took a normal pic and immediately the message came up along with a camera icon at the top of the notification bar.

Turned off HDR and took another pic. Same thing occurred. Did a force stop on the camera app and the notification went away

Same here. Updated yesterday and today, not in night mode this came on. I restarted and it went away. I don't even know what Live Focus Mode does but I don't have it on. Does anyone KNOW what this is actually saying that it's doing? You can't even touch on it and find out.

The ones it's happening on which Carrier you on ? See if there's a pattern from same carrier and if it's a carrier phone vs unlocked.

Seems normal for me. And im sure a lot of users have this but maybe they dont noticd it...

Same here, but I haven't seen that camera message at any time. I'm on ASJ8 now.

It's strange because I've never seen it before. It wouldn't go away unless I restarted the phone and the counter shown keeps on going. Once I took a picture and put the phone in my pocket. When I looked at it again, the counter was over 30 minute and counting. The photo below is only one example of when I got the message.

Someone on the Samsung Community forums said this bug disappeared for them with the ASJ8 firmware update. For those with the problem, which firmware version are you running?
