Camera on Galaxy A12 is the worst!

[Android Central Question]

The selfi camera on the galaxy A12 is just awful! I can't get any good pics with it, my pics turn out with tiny black dots around my eyes, and anywhere where there's not as much light. I can't even verify my creator pages because the selfie camera won't even make out the text on my ID card..
At this point I guess I'm screwed, because no matter what camera app I get(in using the stock one atm) it's not going to make a difference, right? Since it's the hardware of the camera itself...?

Welcome to Android Central! That might be due to poor low light sensitivity. Does the selfie cam have a screen flash feature that might improve the images a bit?

Keep in mind that the A12 is a budget phone, so it shouldn't be expected to have the best quality hardware nor software experience.

Try finding and downloading a GCam APK. It was like night and day. Detail and sharpness are much better with the GCam mod, along with making borders and edges clearer and more defined.

The A12 is a decent mid range phone but can't compete with High end phones .
Put in safe mode and test your camera make sure no 3rd party apps causing this.
