Camera Problem - Failed to Initialize

I have gotten an error two times on my Droid Maxx that says something to the effect of "Camera Failed to Initialize". A reboot fixes it for a while, but I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

have any more details about how/when it happens? galaxy s4 has a similar issue and it has turned out to be HW related. hoping this isnt the same with the maxx.

It's only been twice and happened after I had taken a few pictures. No other pattern is apparent at this point.

Used to get that error all the time on my droid x. For the life of me I can't remember if I fixed it permanently, I know it came back after factory resets.
