Anyone use a lower MP for photos for like twitter/facebook? I turned mine down to 3MP and haven't noticed any loss of quality. Shows how really good this camera is and its faster uploading to twitter/fb cause its only a 400kb photo instead of a 1.9mb @ 8MP

Why don't leave it as high as it can go and have it upload in the background while you do other stuff on the phone?

When I had this phone, I kept it set at 3 MP as well to save on space. With the amount of pictures I take, this small change makes a huge difference. If you're posting to facebook, even 1 MP is more than enough.

I have some 20x30 poster size photos made from 3 MP pictures (taken with a real camera- not this phone), and they look great. It's not about the megapixels
