Hello,
I have the same problem. Here is what happens:
- When phone displays the view from the back camera, it is the wide angle camera that is used. However, the available options are linked to selfie mode (as shown in OP picture), and there is no way to switch to the non-wide rear camera.
=> The phone considers the wide angle camera as the selfie camera
- When the phone displays the selfie view, it is the selfie camera that is used. However, the available options are linked to the rear cameras, including the switch from standard to wide camera. When switching to the wide camera, the app crashes.
=> The phone considers the selfie camera as the main camera (rear, standard camera).
The app will continue crashing until the camera application cache is wiped, where it will go back to displaying the selfie view with the standard rear camera options.
Finally, when I take a picture (front or rear does not matter), the picture is saved upside down.
I can also confirm that this problem also happens with 3rd party apps:
- On "Camera FV-5" only the front camera is available, when it should be the rear camera
- On "Open Camera" the rear camera used is the wide angle one, with no possibility to switch to the other. However, this could be an error in the app itself.
