is there a way to remove the camera sounds? it's quite loud

Put the ringer to vibrate.

Some variants may have that feature disabled to comply with different privacy laws in different regions, but it works on my H815.

Turning ringer to vibrate works on Sprint as well.

My F500L always has camera sounds as do all phones here in South Korea. My G4 is quieter then my wife's note 4 and daughters iPhone 6+ but still super annoying.

G2 had option to completely turn off the shutter... It's like 2 steps fowards 3 steps back

It's because there are too many creepers out there. There are always ways around it though.

Mine makes the same sound as the camera when taking a sccreenshot, yes.
