Camera taking long to focus

So I have an S6e and since last week I noticed that when I double tap to launch or launch from the app the camera can take anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute to focus. I try to refocus by pointing it at a few things or touching the screen to help it but it doesn't so anything. I haven't used the camera in a few weeks, could that be it? Sometimes I have to exit out of the camera because it doesn't focus at all but then it still takes a bit to focus on things, any suggestions?

+1. Sometimes it never focuses; sometimes continuous pressing on the screen twice (once to lock focus, once to unlock) fixes it.

It figures it only happens when I'm actually trying to catch soemthing quick! Haha. I hope someone knows something that will help this.
