Camera Zoom

Another native camera app issue / question. From the manual it says the volume control is supposed to zoom in and out as well as pinch to zoom the screen if you want it. My Galaxy SII used to do it this way also. My S5 only works with pinch to zoom. The volume buttons do nothing in the app - no zooming. Does anyone else's volume buttons actually zoom in the camera app?

Mine doesn't either

The volume buttons actually take bursts shots if the option is turned on

Well that's different. I don't remember that one in the manual.

Ya I just tried to zoom in today with the volume buttons and it started taking bursts shots instead of zooming

Mine too... Would love to use volume as zoom.

I think u need to use the camera when the phone is unlocked to zoom. No from the unlocked state

Volume buttons as zoom should be the default behavior.
