Can a 32 bit OS on a 64 bit Processor be upgraded to 64 bit OS

[Android Central Question]

I have a TV box - Android 8.1 it has 64 bit processor running 32bit OS. Can the 32 bit OS be upgraded to a 64 bit OS

Firstly, you will need to find the appropriate firmware and flash it. Secondly few of these boxes have more than 4GB of RAM so they will not benefit from a 64Bit OS
