Can Acer Iconia A1 840fhd upgraded to Lollipop or Marshmallow?

I had bought this tablet about 2 years back, I want to upgrade to lollipop or Marshmallow butgAcer has stopped support. Is there any other way to get it done as we do to phone.

I'd guess you're out of luck, but head over to the forums at XDA and try to find your device! There's a lot of work happening on older devices over there.
