Can another person search history show up on my boyfriends phone

I told my boyfriend if he visits a particular site we are over. I had him unlock Google search n found site on phone n he called me stupid that someone is boggy backing using his phone and looking at those sites..

Yes. But not exactly another person. For example if at home they have a shared PC, or someone borrowed his laptop, and used Chrome where his account is signed in, searches done there would also appear on the phone.
