CAN ANYBODY recommend a way to recover texts mistakenly deleted from a HUAWEI Android P8 Lite 7

Practically? No.

Theoretically? Learn SQL. Get a SQLite editor. Find the SMS database file. Find the record f the text that was deleted. Figure out which field is the "deleted/active" field. Change it to active.
