Got any "Can anyone explain this!?" Questions? Post them below.

When I wake up in the morning, I have my phone connected to WiFi. Go to work, turn off WiFi, and run on 4G. Get home, turn on Wi-Fi, and both Wi-Fi and 4G lte icons stay lit for up to hours at a time. I thought it is supposed to be one or the other

Can anyone explain this?

I don't have an answer, but I have seen this question come up from several other users. I would guess it is a bug in Verizon's ROM. I personally, would call and inform them.

Icons stay up, remember that signal is for your phone also, but when you actually use data it will be on the WiFi .

What version of the OS are you running? In 4.3 I believe it hides the lte symbol and just shows the signal strength icon. I'm on 4.3 and it does but it didn't on 4.1.

If you're on a Rom I'd try one of the 4.3's that are out. You can also used xposed framework and the mods on XDA.

Mine displayed both on the factory ROM and then I went to ARHD 12 that has 4.2.2 and I still see both. I expected it though for the same reason freakshow999 stated.
