Can anyone explain this to me?

Also as Jmarkey said above it depends on signal, bandwidth, the server you're connecting to, etc. An example is my home internet. On a good Speed Test server it can handle my actual connection speeds where as fast.com (Netflix speed test) can only give so much. They may host it farther away or just have a few more hops than the Speed Test server. There are TONS of factors when it comes to internet speed. Examples below of Speed Test VS. Fast.com for me on my home internet.
Looking at your images, pretty sure I hate you.

Forgive me for asking, but... how much do you pay for those kinds of speeds??? I so wish I had that!

TV & Internet is $130 a month. AT&T fiber has a 1 TB cap but they have unlimited data for $30 more a month... Unless you bundle TV because of course they want people to bundle TV. Since I did they tossed in the unlimited data for free so I don't have to worry.

Wow... I have 50 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up (I have fiber) for $120/month. No TV. I do have unlimited data, it is fiber that they just brought down the road a few months ago... which is amazing because I live in a relatively remote area. I can have as much speed as I want, but I just can't afford it! LOL
