Can anyone help!?? HTC M8 Mail problem with Exchnage Sync

I updated to Version 6 Marshmallow and it corrupted my Exchange mail programme. I uninstalled and I am trying to re install via Exchange Sync and it will now not accept my password and says my account is not recognised. I have tried downloading the outlook app and also trying to install 365 which I am also subscribed to but to no avail. I need my calander and emails on my phone for work!!

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Security​ and Clear Credentials first. Then try adding the Exchange account back to the phone.
