Can deleted photos in a samsung S6 be recovered?

I accidentally deleted my entire photo album instead of one pic. Is there any way to recover or undelete the photos?

Plug into your PC and use the app called Recuva... that may work depending of you have over written the deleted files. ( saved more pics in the same place in your memory).

Recuva searches the PC's file system, it has no access to the phone's file system.

If the phone is rooted, DiskDigger undelete (root) will recover pictures. (To recover any deleted files, you have to root the phone.)

Android magazine (issue 61) has an article on this and they reckon recuva will see the android device and you don't need to root...
