Can EVO run webOS?

You would have to create a new bootloader, drivers of all sorts, and all the while make sure you don't kill the device while making it.

WebOS wont make it to the evo or any android phone for the foreseeable future.

I still miss webos honestly. If youve ever used it for more than a few months you start to feel what you're missing after using an android device. The fluidity of webos was literally addicting... it just didnt have enough quality apps to hold be over.

My CM7 Evo 4g can edit docs with DTG, share my 4g connection (which CM7 somehow gives me ZERO dropped connections on my 4g even on the edge of coverage area), supply me with Google Nav for free, and then theres the widgets..... oh, the widgets....

Sorry, but WebOS on the evo would be interesting to toy with, but pointless when you look at daily use.

I do miss WebOS as well. I had a Motorola Droid which broke, so I got a Palm Pre Plus to replace it. It was a really good phone, it was pretty quick, fluid and fun to mess around with. The battery life was decent too, if I remember correctly. The worst thing of all about it was the lack of apps, that killed me. I felt it had so much potential but not enough developers behind it. I switched to Sprint last year and got my EVO, and even though I love Android, WebOS was just slick.
