Hello, I'm looking to add icons/buttons to do a couple of things. One to change notification content on the lock screen (from hide to show). One to change a sound profile to make all of my notifications quieter at night. Thanks!

I am not sure about the first but for 2nd use do not disturb. Go to settings-->sound and notification-->do not disturb-->automatic rule

Do you think that I can create an icon that would change the sound profile? Or would I have to go through the settings and set up times?

Also, it looks as though I can't set up sound levels with those rules. Am I wrong?

In the notification click do not disturb button and it will flip it. Or do u need a button? It's possible to do it using button but u need 3rd party app

I don't want do not disturb, I just want the volume levels changed at night. & I would like a button so that I don't have to go through settings each time

Tasker will allow you to create a shortcut to change the various volume levels, and you could also create a profile to run it at specific times.

As for changing the ambient display/lockscreen settings, I haven't seen anything yet that would do that without root.
