can i change my font?

It's possible,but I don't think anyone has done it yet. I probably will but not for awhile.(I don't have a evo yet)

it's possible, but without an update.zip to help you, it's pretty tricky.

Just be patient, someone will build one eventually.

I find it absolutely insane that I buy a phone that's higher resolution, bigger screen, yet they manage to increase the font sizes SOOO much that my old MyTouch 3g can get more displayed on it and be more readable than the EVO.

I understand the majority of people may want a bigger font, and in googling most people seem to be looking for larger fonts, but when I get a notification for a SMS it's pitiful that I can read most of the SMS on my old MyTouch 3g yet on the EVO I can ready almost none of it (not ONLY a bigger seeming font but a useless line break is inserted taking up space).

Sure, you can mess up how your phone looks changing font sizes, like Windows Mobile and/or Windows Desktops sometimes look completely wrong due to people tweaking this - I don't mind it being a semi-hidden feature to change it, but to not be supported at all just seems crazy.

At this point I've had my EVO 4 days and think it's designed too much for "consumers" instead of business users - I'm *SHOCKED* by that as I'm extremely happy with my old android phone and also my wife's Samsung Moment. This one's software "updates" is ALL my complaints, nothing about the hardware. Hopefully soon someone will release another Android build that supports this hardware.

I am with you on smaller fonts. I like to pack more into the screen to maximize it. Hopefully someone will come out with that
