Can I change the labels for my Bluetooth devices?

Is it possible to change the labels for Bluetooth connections. I suspect it comes from the device, or in this case my car, but I thought I'd start here.

Go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the settings icon next to the device, and edit the name there.

Didn't last. When I got a phone call it reset it back to "hands free link" and it was scammer call too. Oh well

Hmm, that's not supposed to happen. Did the car disconnect or unpair somehow, and you had to re-pair it again?

Sometimes I loose a connection briefly. I haven't had to re-pair it. I did reset it after the first call. Got another call and again it reset it.

Try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: https://motorola-global-portal.cust...ail/a_id/103905/p/30,6720,9299/kw/clear cache

Clearing the cache seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the help
