Question Can I change the size or format of the battery charge indicator?

The latest update for my Samsung S23+ brought me to Android 15 and the latest version of Samsung’s UI. The first thing I noticed was that I can no longer read the battery percentage in the status area (is that what it’s called) without using reading glasses. I was able to read it in the old format. Here’s what it looks like now :



Is there a way to change the format or size of the battery charge indicator? (I don’t want to add an app to my phone just for this purpose.)

Nope. There's been a couple threads about the update and this question has been asked, talked about, and left disappointed. Most have turned off the percentage and just use the bean or have resorted the widget. I left the number and still added the widget.

On a side note, there are other apps that provide battery levels. I'm not sure if they appear in the notification bar.
