Can I get back Sense UI?

Alrighty. Go through the file and find something called "adb" and move it to your computer. You can do this by opening control panel, click computer, and drop the file there. I suggest creating a folder titled ADB_WIN and moving the file there so that the directory reads C:\ ADB_WIN/adb or something similar.

I found the fold in the SDK called "platform-tools"

This folder has adb.exe and fastboot.exe. It also has the api folder.

Should I move THIS adb.exe to C:\ADB_WIN ?

Move adb.exe and fastboot into the folder. I'm not sure what the api is. The adb will be necessary to boot into recovery. Fastboot is essential to flashing a recovery if you ever decide you want to use a different one.

Alright, both files are in the ADB_WIN folder

Btw, I really appreciate you walking me through this! Thank you so much!

No problem, I had great help also ;)

Now, go to your computers folder, and navigate into the folder ADB_WIN. Navigate up to the search bar, select all, and type in cmd.exe and press enter. A black box should pop up.

It should say something along the lines of C:\ADB_WIN this is the command window, and it is where you will be typing in prompts. Make sure your device is plugged into the computer, with usb debugging enabled.

Confused here a bit... Search bar in the Windows Explorer?

Should I just open up command prompt through Start -> cmd ? (Using windows 7)

And then navigate to the folder?

If you want. But if you do it the way I said to it will open straight to the folder.

If you choose to just go through the command prompt and navigate to the folder you will type in the prompt

cd C:\ADB_WIN

Yeah I had to do that, your shortcut didn't work (I think) because I'm using Clover a mod for windows explorer.

Alright I'm in the folder. C:\ADB_WIN

And I'm in debugging mode.

Alrighty. If your phone is plugged into the computer, type in the command

adb devices

It should read C:\ADB_WIN/ adb devices

If done correctly, it should pull up a list of connected devices.

Getting error message

adb.exe - System Error

The program can't start because AdbWinApi.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Maybe a path variable is missing or something?

Ahh, yes. Go back to the sdk file, and locate adbwinapi.dll and adbwinusbapi.dll and move them to the adb_win folder. Sorry, mine came in a custom zip.

KK1 That worked ! :)

It's giving me a list of devices attached and a device ID is listed as "device"

Once you get them moved, type

adb kill server
adb start server
adb devices

With an enter after each line.

Does it give you the serial?
